I’m a board-certified adult psychiatrist dedicated to providing comprehensive and compassionate psychiatric care. While I treat a wide range of concerns, I have a particular interest and expertise in helping individuals navigate ADHD. I offer in-depth evaluations, tailored medication management, and personalized psychotherapy to help you effectively manage ADHD.
I deeply understand the complex ways ADHD can intersect with anxiety, depression, sleep disturbances, difficulties with emotional regulation, and relationship challenges. I also specialize in addressing how ADHD uniquely impacts women throughout their lifespan, including its often-missed presentations, hormonal influences, and effects on areas like physical health, relationships, parenthood, and career.
In my practice, I provide individual and couples therapy, and medication management. For those managing ADHD, I also offer specialized group therapy, creating a supportive community where you can connect with others and learn effective coping strategies. Beyond ADHD, I treat a variety of issues, including anxiety, OCD, panic, tics, post-traumatic stress, depression, bipolar affective disorder, challenges related to medical illness, and relationship difficulties.
My approach is built on the latest evidence-based practices, always infused with deep respect and empathy. My goal is to enhance your sense of feeling alive, promote overall well-being, and help you realize your full potential, bridging the gap between where you are and where you aspire to be. I do this by creating a safe, nonjudgmental, and collaborative environment where you can openly explore your concerns. I draw from various therapeutic modalities, including psychodynamic, cognitive-behavioral, and emotionally-focused family therapies, to tailor our work to your unique needs.
I completed my residency training at the University of California San Francisco, where I had the privilege of serving as chief resident for outpatient services. I’m currently furthering my expertise through advanced psychotherapy training at the San Francisco Center for Psychoanalysis. I look forward to partnering with you on your journey toward healing and a more fulfilling life.
