Janessa is the front desk supervisor at Baywell and she also serves as the co-director of our DEI program. She leads a cohesive and motivated receptionist team, supports with administrative tasks and manages the Berkeley office. She assists with hiring and training new office receptionists and helps cultivate our community networking relationships.
Prior to joining Baywell, Janessa studied Psychology at Cal State East Bay and received her BS degree in Industrial/Organizational Psychology. She has also worked with autistic children as a registered behavioral therapist. Janessa has a background in performing arts and stays connected in the dance community. She enjoys concerts, participating in cultural festivals and parades and also spends her free time training as a dance instructor for young children. Janessa shares the value of connection and is dedicated to helping anyone in need.
