Janessa is the front desk supervisor and practice management assistant at Baywell. She has also served as a co-director of our DEI program. Janessa leads a cohesive and motivated team of patient service coordinators, supports with administrative tasks and manages the Berkeley and San Francisco offices. She also assists on the management team with hiring and training new staff members, helps cultivate our community networking relationships and leads the summer internship program with Enterprise For Youth.
Prior to joining Baywell, Janessa studied Psychology at CSU East Bay and received a B.S degree in Industrial/Organizational Psychology. She has also worked as a Behavioral Therapist with autistic children. Janessa has a background in Performing Arts and is strongly connected in her local dance communities. She enjoys cooking, live music, nature walks and performing in dance productions, cultural festivals and parades. She also spends her free time training in various styles of dance. Janessa is passionate about serving underprivileged youth and is dedicated to helping anyone in need.
