Benita Ikezue is the first point of contact at Baywell and is our receptionist in the San Francisco office. She schedules new and existing patients, answers phones, supports the doctors with daily tasks, and manages the office. Prior to joining Baywell, Benita studied Psychology and Child & Youth Studies at the University of San Francisco (USF). She also has experience in research as a former Research Assistant in the Spirituality & Health Lab at USF. In this lab, she explored how spirituality and religiousness influence mental and physical health across the lifespan. In the future, she plans to continue her education and pursue her Ph.D in clinical psychology and manage her own private practice one day. Benita believes in incorporating her artistic values in everything she does and has a passion for sharing it with the world. She is a poet, writer, fashionista, world traveler, concert-lover, foodie, and DJ when she is not in the office.
