I am a board-certified child, adolescent and adult psychiatrist. I work collaboratively with patients to provide a comprehensive diagnostic evaluation and determine the best treatment recommendations, which may include psychotherapy as well as medication management. I see each interaction as an opportunity to further understand, provide support and refine therapeutic treatment to your needs. I have special interests in working with adolescents and young adults but am comfortable working with patients of all ages. In regards to psychotherapy, I provide treatment through various modalities including supportive, cognitive behavioral, mindfulness, and exposure therapy. I also provide medication management as appropriate for your condition. Regardless of your diagnosis, I aim to provide a reliable and individualized treatment plan to help you lead a meaningful life and better navigate challenging situations.
I am a Bay Area native. I received my medical training at UC Davis before returning to the Bay Area to complete my residency training. I served as chief resident before moving on to complete my Child and Adolescent Fellowship at Stanford University with additional time spent in the Pediatric Mood Disorders clinic and the Autism and Developmental Disorders clinic. Professionally, I am interested in program development, medical education and enjoy working with medical students and those still completing their medical training.
