Dr. Jessica Ellinoy provides psychotherapy and medication management to adults. In her practice, she strives to understand the complexity of each individual while still holding a deep respect for their basic humanity. She specializes in psychodynamic psychotherapy, but her work is also informed by her training in cognitive and dialectical behavioral therapies, mindfulness, and complimentary and alternative medicine. Her professional interests include mood and anxiety disorders, relationship issues, trauma, major life transitions, and identity exploration (including gender and sexual orientation). Dr. Ellinoy completed her psychiatry residency at California Pacific Medical Center, where she served as chief resident. She received several awards and honors in Psychiatry while attending the University of Colorado School of Medicine, and earned her BA with honors in Psychology from UC Santa Cruz. She is engaged in ongoing education through the San Francisco Center for Psychoanalysis.
