Psychiatry Positions
Baywell Psychiatry Group is hiring Child and Adolescent Psychiatrists and General Adult Psychiatrists. We are seeking providers who prioritize practicing psychotherapy alongside medication management, share a commitment to ongoing learning, and value the camaraderie and pooled knowledge of a close workplace community. Our weekly team meetings are protected time to discuss challenging cases, learn from consultants, review journal articles, and support each other.
Since, Baywell Psychiatry Group has established itself as a strong practice devoted to delivering high quality care for patients ranging in age from young children to seniors. We are contracted with major insurance carriers, making us financially accessible to a diverse patient population. We have offices in San Francisco, San Mateo, San Rafael and Berkeley. Our providers work between 24-40 hours per week which includes time for the weekly team meeting and charting. Our administrative staff members handle all new patient inquiries, billing, and routine clinical support tasks.
Base salaries are competitive for the Bay Area and providers receive a year-end revenue distribution based on productivity. Employees who work a minimum of 24 hours per week are eligible for benefits, which include 401k plan; medical, dental, vision, disability, and life insurance; commuter expenses; and pre-tax flexible spending accounts for health care and dependent care. Providers may take off 3 weeks of paid vacation, 1 week of optional unpaid leave, 2 weeks of paid sick leave, and paid federal holidays.
If you are interested in applying, please email your cover letter and CV to Rebecca Watters, MD, at [email protected] Our interview process consists of an introductory phone call, interviews with our group’s directors and observing a weekly Wednesday Team Meeting.
