I am a general adult psychiatrist, treating the full range of emotional and psychological challenges faced by adults of all ages. I have a lifelong interest in human behavior, emotions, and relationships and have studied these topics from the perspectives of psychology, psychiatry, neuroscience and the law for more than two decades. I approach care from a holistic perspective, incorporating medication management, psychodynamically informed psychotherapy and somatic, mindfulness, and cognitive behavioral interventions. I am experienced in treating anxiety, mood disorders, psychosis, and PTSD/trauma with a particular interest in racial and intergenerational trauma.
My practice at Baywell is 100% telehealth. I have served as Co-director for Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion at Baywell since January 2022. I worked in community and forensic mental health prior to joining the practice in 2020 and I continue to work as an emergency psychiatry physician.
