Dr. Inti Flores provides psychotherapy and medication management to adults and seniors. Dr. Flores attends to the complexity of each patient’s individual history and present circumstance. His approach to care is patient-centered and prioritizes collaboration and open communication. Dr. Flores enjoys partnering with his patients and aims beyond symptom reduction to achieve a range of treatment goals that lead to richer, more fulfilled lives. Dr. Flores’ clinical and academic interests include anxiety disorders, trauma and recovery, identity and personality development, as well as LGBTQ mental health and HIV psychiatry. Dr. Flores graduated from New York University summa cum laude with a B.A. in Gender and Sexuality Studies. He attended the University of Pittsburgh School of Medicine and subsequently completed residency training at UCSF Medical Center where he served as Chief Resident for the San Francisco VA Medical Center. Dr. Flores received the Laughlin Family Foundation Award from UCSF for excellence in therapeutic skills and dedication to the welfare of patients. He is currently pursuing advanced psychotherapy training at the San Francisco Center for Psychoanalysis.
